Changes at Multiculti Gourmet
A lot has happened since the last post but I won’t bore you with any details. Feels like I was zapped from one day to a year and half later. It’s true that time flies!
As you may have noticed, the structure of MCG has changed and I’m no longer making and selling spice mixes. I realized that the food cottage license was too restrictive for the plans I had and decided to switch gears.
I’ve been working on various projects and today I am proud to present the publication of my first eBook in the series of mini recipe books of international favorites. Isn’t it fitting to start with Savory Snacks, since appetizers are what start off most meals?
Savory Snacks from Suriname includes 12 delicious recipes to give your next party that exotic touch. Recipes are based on traditional cooking from Suriname, which has a very diverse cuisine with Asian, African and European roots.
Why only a dozen recipes?
So you can try a new snack each month without feeling overwhelmed by choices. In my experience, having many recipe books with tons of recipes never made me want to try each one. In reality I keep going back to my favorites and I hope the recipe books in this series will make you do the same. Some recipes in Savory Snacks from Suriname are very simple, some a bit more complicated, which brings the scale in balance. Each one is a personal favorite I’ve prepared many times and I’m convinced you will find them delicious too.
Why sell the eBooks here in PDF format and not for Kindle on Amazon?
Many people I know do not have or use a Kindle device. Some were asking for another format and others even wanted to buy printed versions of my spice books. By creating eBooks in PDF format, I can make the recipes available to a bigger group and if someone prefers a printed version, they can print the eBook too.
